Technical requirements

Requirements to be met by the IT infrastructure

For online filing of an IP application, a special software is necessary, which we provide to you free of charge. For installation, your IT infrastructure (hardware, software) should meet the following minimum requirements:

Standard PC having at least:

  • 4 GB RAM
  • 1 GB of vacant hard disk storage space
  • display resolution of 1024 x 768 Pixel or higher
  • broadband Internet access (DSL or equivalent)
  • Smartcard reader for the qualified signature card


Operating systems supported:

  • All current Windows (server) operating systems
  • From version DPMAdirektPro 3.0 only in 64bit version
