In administrative matters, you can also contact the DPMA via the De-Mail address “info@dpma.de-mail.de” and via the special public authority mailbox (beBPO) as part of the infrastructure of the electronic court and administrative mailbox (EGVP). Please note that neither IP-related submissions (patents and utility models, trade marks, designs) nor submissions to the proceedings of the arbitration boards of the DPMA can be filed via these access points. The same applies to proceedings under the Collecting Societies Act.

Please note that procedural acts such as applications, requests, communications concerning proceedings of the Arbitration Boards at the DPMA and under the CMO Act (Verwertungsgesellschaftengesetz) cannot be submitted via e-mail; submission is only admitted by post, fax, using the DPMAdirektPro software, or in person to be legally valid.
